I have a 2001 Solara SE V6 that has a lowered suspension. I have Tokico blue struts with Eibach springs. It seems way to easy to bottom out when I hit uneven pavement on the front end only. Is there any thing I can do to increase the ride height of the front end? Coil over spring, spring shim? Or will I have to get custom springs made? I think all I need is .25-.50" more ride height to make a difference.

I might try a less expensive thing first. Most parts stores have spring "helpers" Some are rubber, some are cast iron, but they fit in between the coils. They usually don't change ride height, but since they remove one active coil, the spring's rate increases. This might be all you need. It worked on an old Caprice my friend had. The floppy sagging springs let it bottom out all the time, so he used a set of the rubber ones and it worked like a charm.

I will take a look to see if my parts store has them. Thanks for your input.
