wait wiring...

wait so i have 2 4 ohm subs... new kicker compvrs dual voice coil.. cud i wire them together to get a 2 ohm load sumhow
cuz rite now i have them in a 4 ohm load help me or show me how pleaseee cuz im only gettin like 300 watts rms out of my amp wen i cud be gettin double

no, 2 dual 4ohm subs can't go to a single 2ohm load

Just wire both sides bridged up to the amp.

its not a safe route but you could wire each sub to two ohms them two subs to one ohm and bridge at one ohm. certainly do not recommend it but it will give you more power. i blew one of my old audiobahns doing this. but if you want to give it a shot, the most youll do is fry a voice coil. the comp vr isnt too exensive. you could get another.


or get a one ohm stable amp and youll have no worries
