Manually advancing milage

Hey, i have a 95 escort speedomoter i swaped with my 93 escort. I need to advance the milage to make sure i have correct millage on the new odometer. Does anyone know how to quickly manually advance the milage?Thnx

many people spend big$$$ to roll back the miles.
Leave them as -is. If your speedo is electronic, this is not easy at all. Electronic speedos are designed to resist tampering, usually rolling back. But rolling forward is just as difficult.

Technically, anything you do to the odometer is fraud. Depending on your state's laws, you could have a mileage certificate issued that just states the true mileage is xx,000 greater than the odometer states, or you could have a certified garage change the odometer.

Any way you slice it, it is most likely going to be titled TMU (true mileage unknown) if you change it legally. Since some folks refuse to buy a branded title, it might affect resale value. I would just record mileage accurately and disclose that mileage to the new owner if you ever sell it.
