Re: how to get a 94 tempo stock radio out

its never as easy as just popping it out. on my car i had to remove the entire dash because it is all one piece. you will probably have to do the same. its not too difficult. maybe a couple screws by the guage cluster and it should pop out. try not to break the clips holding it in.

Re: how to get a 94 tempo stock radio out

if its anything like my 95 Aspire you just pop out the tray underneath the deck and stick your fingers up through the bottom, then depress the clips on the sides and slide the whole thing out. Simple as that, no screws or anything!

I'm not trying to be a smart ass or anything but maybe you should try asking this same question in the ford tempo forum!

Re: how to get a 94 tempo stock radio out

You'll need a set of Ford U-clips to get the radio out. You can probably find them at a Ford dealership or local tool shop, and they're inexpensive. I've heard of people using coat hangars as well, although I think it would be a little tricky...
