My friend has an 84 automatic toyota tercel... dont ask me why but recently the battery died and we thought it was toast so he bought a new battery and I helped him install it and everything was all good and working(lights and such) but the engine wouldn't start (or crank no life at all). When you try to start it the charge light comes on. I'm thinking maybe in this car there is an alternator fuse or start circut fuse that has blown??? I tried hitting the starter with a hammer thinking that it might be the starter...
please help!!!
