wow what the %&$!
i have a 89 mercedes 560 sec. stock stereo except for jvc head unit and 12 cd changer in the trunk (for the record i didnt buy the head unit, i bought the car with it already installed. hah). so im drivin to my aunt's house and everything is working fine. when i am leaving my aunt's house the radion works fine, but when i switch to the cd player, the left speakers sound distorted and blown. what could this mean? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Re: wow what the %&$!
It probably means the left speaker is blown.
Start upgrading... Get yourself some CDT-ef-61's and a 150WX2 amp and you'll be set

Re: Re: wow what the %&$!
they arent blowm because it sounds fine when im listening to the radio. could it be a fuse somewhere from the cd payer in the trunk? or maybe just wiring i dont know.

Re: wow what the %&$!
There could be a few different causes of this, from resistance in wiring, to distortion from interferecne, but the thing that gets me is that it was fine on the way to aunties, and then distorted after. That indicated that it was working fine and then randomally bad, meaning something broke, and has nothing to do with setup or wiring etc., my opinion is that something broke, and you should look into a new cd changer.

Re: Re: wow what the %&$!
ok the craziest thing. I took it to an audio shop and they told me the same thing u just said. i decided to take it apart, but when it was apart i knew there would be no way to fix it my self. i just put it back together and reinstalled it because i figured i could listen to it in the mean time. when i turned it back on, both sides work! i dont know what the hell happened maybe a wire was loose or somethin but i dont wanna ask questions. just accept it and move on haha. thanks for your guys' replies anyways.
