Alpine vs. Eclipse

I've got Alpine head units in 2 of our cars. Both are the same model. We are very happy with them.

Now,we want to replace the old unit in our Grand Prix.My first choice was Alpine again.A salesman I was dealing with today, also recommended the Eclipse model. Both are priced about the same, but this guy said that he thinks the Eclipse sounds even better than the Alpine.

I thought it sounded good too,but I had never heard of Eclipse until today.

I'd appreciate all opinions.Thanks.

Re: Alpine vs. Eclipse

Alpine and Eclipse are usually considered the two best. I don't think you could go wrong with either one. Just watch out for salesmen, most of them are more about getting money then getting you the best product.
